WEDDING DAY!

WEDDING DAY!

TODAY IS THE WEDDING OF SOME SPECIAL FOLKS AND I WANTED TO SHARE THE CARD I MADE FOR THEM.

MANY THANKS TO RUBY JOHNSON (RUBYSTAMPS.BLOGSPOT.COM) FOR THE INSPIRATION.

I USED MY BIG SHOT BIG TIME LOL!

THE STRIPES, ELEGANT BOUQUET AND PETALS-A-PLENTY EMBOSSING FOLDERS; AS WELL AS THE SCALLOPED HEART OF HEARTS EMBOSSLIT DIE (LOVE LOVE, L-O-V-E  THIS ONE).

CARD STOCK COLORS ARE SIMPLE, JUST BLACK AND WHITE.  I USED THE FULL HEART, THE PINKING HEARTS CORNER, THE WORD WINDOW AND THE MODERN LABEL PUNCHES.  THE SENTIMENT IS STAMPED WITH TEENY TINY WISHES.  I USED SOME BASIC PEARLS AND BASIC RHINESTONES HERE AND THERE AND FINISHED THE CARD BY SNIPPING A LITTLE BOW TIE IN BASIC BLACK CARD STOCK.  HOPE YOU LIKE IT.  I'D APPRECIATE YOUR COMMENTS HERE.  AND DON'T FORGET TO VISIT RUBY AND COMPLEMENT HER!

I'M OFF TO SIGN IT AND LEAVE IN A FEW FOR THE BIG EVENT.  HOPE YOU HAVE A PLEASANT DAY, AS WELL!

HAVING A FUN DAY IN MY CRAFT STUDIO!

I love this kind of day.  Nothing special planned, nowhere I have to be, so playing with paper and ink is top on the priority  list.  I made this cute card using a few new fun tricks.

I used the 3/8" Very Vanilla Velvet Stitched Ribbon, which is introduced in our new Holiday Mini Catalog.  I colored the ribbon using the side of the large tip of my Early Espresso Stampin' Write marker and just love how it came out!  The Early Espresso layer is just card stock run through our new "Stripes" embossing folder and the Big Shot machine.  What an unusual effect it creates - hope you can see it.  The stamp set is "Cherish Friendship"; card stocks are Crumb Cake, Cherry Cobbler and our 100% cotton watercolor paper.  Such a pleasure using our aqua pens and ink pads to color in the stamped image on this great water color paper and not worry about it bleeding through.  I finished off the image with some Crystal Effects to make those cherries shine!  Hope you like it.  Any questions, please drop me a line.  I'd be happy to help!  Have a great day and happy stamping!

AHHHHHH LIFE IS GOOD!!

It's a rainy Saturday morning here in Chicago and I'm headed to a shut-in's house to stamp, snip, glue and just play! What a wonderful way to spend a day. The time flies by, and it is such a relaxing hobby. If you'd like to join in on the fun, I'd be happy to provide Stampin' Up! projects via mail and/or email. Contact me (itisjaye@gmail.com) and we'll talk about your taste and budget for fabric, paper, and ink.  We have kits to get you started with step by step instructions - perfect for a beginning stamper.
Have a great day all and I hope you're having as much fun as we are!
